"Because my body is no longer "of the rack" shaped, I'm learning how to be creative with altering items that I almost fully like but don't quite fit properly. Wearing a size Large top will usually fit in length, and not be too tight around my tummy, but will be huge in the chest and sometimes awkward in the shoulders. Perhaps (to your marketing team), let customers know that if they like an item but something isn't fitting quite properly, there is likely a local seamstress/tailor close to them who can do a slight alteration to make the item into the perfect fit.
